"I really do find silly (or at least useless) the characterization of certain house-dance sub genres as "progressive house" because this term seems pretentious and egocentric! Who am I to say that a track is progressive or not? Anyway since this term was established to name a certain subgenre of house-dance tracks therefore I have to say......dark sun is a "dark progressive house tune"!! Enjoy!!!"

Tamahagane
Tamahagane is a type of Japanese steel. Translated as "jewel steel", it is mainly used to make Samurai swords, such as the katana, and some tools. The steel is made from black sand. Tamahagane is also Softcore's debut EP on Hypothermik Musik and the second track of the EP, which could be described as banging 2010 techno. Enjoy!

"There was this remix contest concerning Datensi, an also greek producer, whose tracks were always intriguing me and then inspiration hit me with his "Umbel" tune. I did a remix, the judges liked it, and the rest is history."

"I had this idea, well yeah not that I havent heard this done before but anyway, I had this idea about a track that would combine strictly minimalistic electronic sounds with the ambience and organic sound of a string orchestra. Of course, I do not have the abilities nor the resources to conduct such an orchestra but fortunately technology can help, so "oh really" is the result of this idea."

(Greek-Μελαγχολια), in contemporary usage, is a mood disorder of non-specific depression, characterized by low levels of enthusiasm and low levels of eagerness for activity. In a modern context, "melancholy" applies only to the mental or emotional symptoms of depression or despondency.
This track has been offered by Softcore to the "Haiti Aid Through Music" project. By donating to download it, 100% of the amount paid goes directly to the "Minister Volunteers" to help the people of Haiti.
The "Haiti Aid Through Music" is a fundraising project, raised by the Hungarian singer Andrea Gerak to aid "Minister Volunteers" helping Haitians, effected by the recent earthquake.
From each track sale, 100% of the amount paid goes directly to the "Minister Volunteers" organization working on the disaster sites and at the Haitian Embassy in Washington, delivering pain relief to the injured, easing stress for individuals of the population and rescue workers, and are stable points in the chaotic situation.
